These are the options at QB that reportedly are neck and neck for the starting job and we likely won't know until game time. Players to watch:
Jordan Scarlett - RB
Antonio Callaway - WR - SUSPENDED
Jabari Zuniga - DE
Chauncey Gardner - CB
Johnny Townsend - P
Eddy Pineiro - K
Prediction:
Last year's strength (their defense) is pretty inexperienced this year.. Some big time play makers despite the lack of experience in DE Jabari Zuniga and CB Chauncey Gardner however. Their offense is actually very talented and returns their top 2 WR's and their top RB and TE. The problem is their QB situation. Their OLine has decent experience but aside from Jawaan Taylor, they were only played because the person ahead of them last year was not very good and were mid-season replacements. I think our defense will be too much for their offense and no matter who the QB is, he won't have enough time to potentially abuse their one advantage (their WRs on our DBs). Our offense should be good enough to move the ball on their young defense, especially their linebackers. Their NFL punter will make field position a pain for most of our drives and their NFL kicker will add 3 anytime they cross our 35.
Barring a complete offensive disaster with multiple turnovers, I think we control the majority of the game and semi-comfortably cruise to a 34-20 win.
If rumors are true and Callaway is out.. 37-13 Michigan.
