Is becoming sickening. yes. we are all stoked over the 31-0 domination of BYU but the Cougars were not ranked in the top 5 teams and Michigan still has a long way to go. We know that Michigan has improved each week and we also know that the same media hype that is loving on the Wolverines this week will be comparing them to the Hoke years if we lose again. Harbaugh will keep the team focused week by week and going into Maryland for a Saturday night game is not going to be a walk in the park like some people have posted on here. Edsall, like him or not is a good coach and they will be prepared to play after being crushed by West Virginia. This is where we see real improvement in the coaching ranks this week if Michigan stays focused and continues to play hungry with great improvement.

I Like the way you think SC. Need to forget about the BYU game. Time to focus on B1G 10 season and nothing else, one game at a time. We can pat ourselves on the back at the seasons conclusion if all goes well!

P.S. Spurrier & the GameCocks....what the hell happened down there??? Was always a closet Spurrier fan. Was in Columbia for the Upset over Bama in 2010. Looks like he's on his way out now & going out on a low note rather than a high note. Too bad.

I think it's funny that the 2 most vocal coaches about the BIG's weak schedule - Spurrier & Bret B are both getting their butts spanked this season. Morale to the story, focus on your own team before you go barking and complaining on what other people are or not doing.

As for SC's comments about Maryland - I agree, Edsall is not a bad coach and I bet this is the game the view as a "turnaround" game - if they beat Michigan in a way it will make their season so they will be ready and it's a night game. This will not be a cupcake game for Michigan. I expect Michigan to pull through late in the 4th quarter but I expect a full battle from Maryland. I know our offense is shaky at best and can get cold feet on the road but I want to see our D dominate on the road.

Plain and simple. Spurrier is not getting the top recruits in the state which are going to Clemson. Also, I believe that he may retire after this season. It was rumored that he wanted to last year, however, they managed to get him to commit to one more year. Depending on the Texas situation, do not be surprised if Charlie Strong does not appear in Columbia next year as the HC. He has been at USC before and is very well liked. If he is run out of town in Austin, I predict Nick Saban will be the HC at Texas for his last ballyhoo. Saban made a HUGE mistake with bringing in Kiffin and he is tired in Tuscaloosa.
