Yesterday there was a thread where someone was talking about a friend claiming MSU was recruiting better than UM. Of course, I don't think there's a single person here who was agree with that but I thought it might be interesting to see how they've been doing recently and look at some facts.
While 2019 isn't over yet, they currently are ranked 7th in the Big 10 overall and 10th when you look at average rating which comes in at 2.89. If it remains this way, it will be their worst recruiting class since before 2015. I used 2015 because there shouldn't be many of those guys still hanging around.
So...if you believe "stars matter"...it would appear they have less talent coming in recently than they have in the past.
