I’m tired of the Harbaugh arguments. I don’t favor cutting ties with him and doubt we will do it, but it’s a fluid situation and if we happen to win 2 games this year, probably every option is on the table. People know my views, no reason to keep beating a dead horse.

So with that said, I could get behind either Campbell or Fickell. I think I like Campbell a little more because he’s coached in a major conference, has revived a terrible program, seems to be an offensively oriented coach, and has knocked off Oklahoma a few times. If he can gameplan against Lincoln Riley, I like his chances of coming up with something against Ryan Day. Honestly, his resume looks a little like JH’s at Stanford, without a 12-1 season (but no Luck either). If we hired him, I could see us keeping many of our current recruits.

Fickell I’m a little less sure about. He’s done a nice job at Cincy, but we’ve seen other coaches do well there, too - Brian Kelly and Butch Jones. That Jones to TN thing was not good. Being a former Buckeye, would he even want this job? If he did, and the OSU job came open, does he leave?

I do like his defenses and his recruiting is good - beating out MSU and UK for the Ohio kids OSU and I guess UM doesn’t want means something.
