With all the talk about Cole not being ideal size or body type for center, I began trying to think of centers who are similar in stature. I feel like Pouncey and Cole are a near perfect comparison. Both similar in size coming out HS, 6-5 280ish with room to grow in a college weight program. Cole is now at least 287 but probably more. Pouncey is 6-5 304. The two really aren't really that far off. Technique is the key no matter the size. Molk is a great example of that. With good technique, which Cole has shown as a true freshman at that, and Drevno coaching I see no reason why so many should be skeptical about this move.
