Did yesterday's game teach us anything about specific matchup problems we might have against Maryland? I hear they've got some speed at RB and some talent at QB. Not sure what they have on D.
Some here might not have any confidence in our team going forward because of our various struggles on offense; but I think the close win yesterday was the best thing that could have happened to us going into a potential trap game against a dangerous team. Had we sleepwalked through a yawner against NW, we might have been caught looking ahead to the Wisconsin game. I think we sharpen the focus and win more convincingly next week than we might have otherwise, specifically because we looked so bad at times yesterday. Also because we're just more talented overall. We made some really good offensive plays yesterday--without the penalties and a couple of missed throws/catches, we win that game more easily. I think we will see that this coming week.
