He is letting Pagano twist in the wind now refusing to offer him a contract extension because he wants "more success" before extending him.
The guy is a piece of work. Don't confuse great records with being a great owner. The guy had two franchise quarterbacks fall into his lap in 15 years. They've done a bad job surrounding Luck with talent (trading Richardson for a 1st round pick). But to Irsay, he has Luck so no excuses, he should win he Super Bowl.
I'm guessing Harbaugh will be their top choice. You don't fire Pagano for a no name. Also, Harbaugh had his best years as a player there, and is close with Luck.
Do I think its a waste of time at this point? Yes, but I expect Irsay to try anyway.
