Second half team. dOSU has been making its hay all season like this - Herman leaving was freaking huge.
Obviously the HC at Moo U. knows how to get a team ready for anything, including playing w/o your stud QB. The weather has become an issue for both teams....maybe the first big mistake will become the clincher but I want a shot at a undefeated OSU...knock them out the B1G race and NAtional title. Ann Arbor would be hopping.....

The play calling was ultra conservative. I don't quite understand the play not to lose mindset. It didn't surprise me that MSU moved the ball a little bit but they shut down OSU or should I say OSU shut down themselves?

Absolutely a fantastic effort by a true team and a great program...Dantonio and his staff with a huge coaching clinic vs. the "Legend"...a lot of Ohio truck drivers will be crying in their beer while on their travels this week. Hard to believe your fan-base boos you with what this OSU class has produced over the last few years. Classless bunch...
I was hoping we'd get the chance to deny the Bucknutz the B1G and possible National title chase. We still have a shot to put a Michigan double whammy on OSU next week. Again, a helluva ball game for the Spartanio's.

Oh well. It was a pretty physical game. I wouldn't mind seeing a bruised and demoralized buckeye team limp into the big house.
Can Michigan still get to the Rose Bowl if Michigan State wins out and Nebraska beats Iowa, assuming Michigan beats Ohio State? That's about the only way possible now, unless Penn State can upset the spartans. Michigan State would likely be in the CFB playoff it wins out. Damn buckeyes! The one time I pull for them, they lose.

Yes ---- if the B1G Champion makes the College Football Playoff, the Rose Bowl is guaranteed to take the top-ranked B1G team in the College Football rankings that is not part of the playoff.
I think U-M would need Nebraska to beat Iowa. 12-1 Iowa is probably ranked ahead of 10-2 U-M (assuming MSU wins out and U-M beats OSU).
Okay good! That's what I was hoping. I think Nebraska will beat Iowa. The huskers have to win to become bowl eligible and the game is in Lincoln, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe Penn State can shock the world too next week. The Spartans seem to play up or down to the competition so I guess it's possible.

No, I'm not happy at all that State won, I'm a 40+ year season ticket holder but what they did today was pretty impressive, no matter what you may think. We were 5-7 last year, now 9-2 still playing for a divisional title. You still have to give them credit that they walzed into C-bus and beat the Buckeyes...shut their asses down. Sometimes you have to face the facts...even if OSU won, we still have to beat the Buckeyes next week. It is what it is...let's face it, they won in A2 and C-bus. Be an adult and admit it....
