I love Spike at the 1, Love Walton at the 1 or the 2.... Haven't loved them on the court together much, but that could change..... we'll see. I think there are some deficiencies with the lack of size between the two and Spike's lack of defensive ability....
MAAR brings a couple of things that I think could really get him more minutes then maybe we expect.... First, his defense was pretty good this year as a true freshmen, defending the other teams best player regularly... guys like Trimble, Russell, etc. Second, the kid is a legit 6'4.... get him thru Camp Sanderson, which he said he was going to stay for, and we could really use that height, length and athleticism on the court (see his dunk @ maryland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oDrOwcNVSY
It's gonna be interesting and fun to watch.... so many different scenarios, now that we have so much experience for MAAR, Dawkins, Irvin playing the 2 quite a bit the final week or two, plus the possibility of LeVert coming back......
