If Michigan beats Penn State at noon, then of course we'd want tOSU to beat MSU. That would set up a winner-take-the-east game on the 28th. If Penn State beats Michigan, then I don't think it matters who wins between MSU and tOSU.
Agree. Foremost, we want to win out. We do want TUOS to beat MSU, but we also want MSU and TUOS to beat the crap out of each other this weekend so they both lose the following weekend.

Yes, swallow hard, and root for the Buckeyes. But it does not matter: OSU should win easily. Buckeyes are way better than the Spartans.Who will y'all Wolverines pull for (or against)?
It's quite amusing visiting the MSU boards and seeing how confident their fans are about a win in Columbus, when their team crapped the bed in Lincoln. tOSU is like a zillions times better than Nebraska. And Cook is questionable with a bad shoulder.
Ohio State rolls. The question is, do they open a can of whoop-ass, or do they save that for us?

Would be onboard with your comment in the pre Dantonio era, however Sparty has played big in big games since his arrival. Agree that I'm not sold on Cook's health, but you have to hand it to Sparty. They've played O$U verrrry tough since the Dantonio regime started. On paper O$U rolls......but that's why you play the game.
Weather will be the "X-factor" in OSU-MSU game. Rain, sleet, and cold temps will neutralize speed and passing game for both sides; and will make for a much lower scoring game, maybe decided by turnovers. On a dry field, OSU runs away with it; but with this weather and on this field, no longer so sure of that. Does not look like weather will be that bad for Penn State game.
The hope of course is both for OSU to win and the game to be a double-overtime, 15 round slugfest that exhausts OSU.
Weather conditions that limit the passing game should favor OSU. I don't know if MSU can win without Cook having a productive game. The exception being turnovers are a factor.
