Two Michigan 2019 commits, forwards Johnny Beecher and Austen Swankler, have made the pre-season NHL Central Scouting Bureau Players to Watch list for the 2019 NHL Draft to be held in Vancouver in June.
Both Beecher and Swankler were given “B” ratings which corresponds to being selected in the second or third rounds.
The list is Central Scouting’s first issuance for the 2019 draft. Around the year end holidays, the Bureau will issue a mid-term ranking and follow up with a final ranking in the spring prior to the draft.
