Currently, there are 27 known Michigan Hockey commits playing developmental hockey this season in anticipation of eventually wearing Maize and Blue in front of the Yost Ice Arena faithful.
Listed below, I’ve grouped those commits by school year, September through August, except for the oldest group which contains players from a two-year period. Birth month and year are in parentheses.
Not all these commits will eventually make it to Yost either due to de-commitment or a numbers crunch on Michigan’s end. Also, there is give and take over when the commit actually plays for Michigan. Hockey recruiting has become a very fluid process due to de-commitments and early pro signings.
There are three players who I am not fairly certain on their fall ’19 team. I’ve listed those as TBD, to be determined.
