The Big Ten announced the preseason coaches poll today as well as preseason watch list players.
Michigan was predicted to finish second in the conference by the coaches behind overall consensus top pick Ohio State. Following the top two, in order, we’re Notre Dame, Minnesota, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
Wolverine sophomore defenseman Quinn Hughes (unanimous selection), sophomore forward Josh Norris and junior forward Jake Slaker were all chosen as members of the pre-season Big Ten watch list.
