When walking to my seats yesterday I passed the entire Men's basketball team. That's very cool because in years passed we had to play with prospects in the morning and were generally to tired to attend after. They were all walking together. Ibi Watson is surprisingly very tall, it was shocking how tall he looked in person.
The reason I'm posting is because of Mortiz Wagner. He looked very tall and long. But he was yelling, "GO" and everyone around him, students and fans yelled, "BLUE.!" He repeatedly did it his entire walk to his seats. He loves it at Michigan.
It was clear that he's the leader of this team, the other players clearly were following him around the stadium. With Irvin and Walton gone I'm guessing the Wagner will be the vocal leader. Generally great things happen when your best player is your most vocal person and hardest worker. What a great story, a young German with broken English coming to play for Michigan and in his 3rd year is the unquestioned leader of the team. I really hope his spirit and enthusiasm rubs off on the rest of the team.
