Ronnie Bell, as reported earlier, made the Niners, and Cam McGrone stuck with the Colts after a strong preseason.

Rough day to be an ex-Michigan TE as Sean McKeon, Zach Gentry and Nick Eubanks were cut by Dallas, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, respectively.

Chase Winovich was cut by Houston.

The Falcons gave up on Jalen Mayfield two years after drafting him in the third round. Mayfield is the 2023 winner of the Marcus Taylor Award for guys who really should have stayed longer in college to develop. (H/T @KevinWerner )

Fun fact on Mayfield: despite being in the NFL for two years before getting cut, he was in the same class as Joe Milton, Michael Barrett, and German Green - all of whom are still playing in college this season!

Gemon Green cut by the Giants - another guy who might have been better served to have stayed here with his brother and started this season.

Also in that class: Ryan Hayes, who did not make the Dolphins' 53.

Christopher Hinton was expected to make the Chargers, and Olu Oluwatimi was trending towards starting for the Seahawks..
