C Lauren Sweet is out of the lineup today after leaving yesterdays game when she injured herself sliding into home. Was a non-contact injury and her leg buckled really awkwardly...didn't look good. Hopefully, she's just out for precautionary reasons, but worried it might be an ACL. Would really be a shame for her since she's a senior and has played way too much of the season to redshirt. Would hate to see her career end like that. Would be a significant blow to the hitting prowess of this team as well, as she was having a career year so far.
