But, but no one has suffered injuries like MSU, ever in the history of football. Hell I heard Dantonio's 16 year old walk on nephew is staring at nickelHe won't even be invited to NY. I could care less what MSU does, we just need to play out and win our games. I have concerns about our team because while we have depth there is a huge drop-off with our 2nd strings. We are going to miss Glasgow - basically the loss of Ojemudia and Glasgow is going to end up hurting our D a lot more - add the fact that Mone is also out and that's 3 starters that we are going to be without. Also, not sure what's going on with our RBs but both Isaac and Green seem to be out.
This team is playing on pure guts right now. I think we have enough in the tank to beat Penn State and come Ohio State anything can really happen.
Sparty hoops is constantly beset by injuries, too, while nobody else even has anyone miss a single game. Strange. But, but no one has suffered injuries like MSU, ever in the history of football. Hell I heard Dantonio's 16 year old walk on nephew is staring at nickel
has the whinning started already there over at Breslin.Sparty hoops is constantly beset by injuries, too, while nobody else even has anyone miss a single game. Strange.
Connor Cook is a very good qb but he has been out of the Heisman race since the 3rd or 4th week. He does not have the numbers to be a contender. Will be interesting to see how he does against OSU on a big stage. He may have to throw the ball 60 times just to keep his team in the game. But Bucks should win that one easily, setting the stage for Nov. 28.Is he still going to win the Heisman?

Did not realize the stats were quite that bad, though they reflect the overall mediocrity of MSU's offense to date. He is a little better than these stats indicate because he has a knack for making big plays. Nevertheless, MSU cannot keep pace with OSU with that offense and a nonexistent pass defense. Look for Bucks to win by something like 49-17, with the game basically in hand by halftime. The big game in the Big 10 is the following week.Conner Cook is:
89th in completion percentage.
40th in QB rating
Overrated. Highly.
Didn't the secondary coach take over for Narduzzi when he left?Did not realize the stats were quite that bad, though they reflect the overall mediocrity of MSU's offense to date. I didn't like the way Cook was dangling his right arm last Saturday. I can't believe he is going to be 100% Saturday. He has to be for the Spartans to have a shot.I have no idea what to expect in this game. I personally don't see the Spartans being out of it - I think the Cook to his plethera of WRs will allow them to score on offense. They have a fantastic O-line that gives him a lot of time and he's pretty accurate so I expect that MSU will score and likely put up around 30 points on the board. Challenge is can MSU stop the OSU attack. I will be curious to see how Elliott does against that D-line and JT will get his yards as well. I think MSU has a great chance of an upset - Dantonio's teams always stay in games because of the type of offense and defense they deploy.
As much as it pains me to say this the best outcome as a pure Michigan fan would be:
That would be fantastic because it would mean both MSU and OSU would have 2 losses in the BIG, however that won't help Michigan's slim to none playoff chances though. I think if Michigan can somehow beat an undefeated OSU and then beat an undefeated Iowa, we will make some massive jumps in all the polls so it will be interesting either way.
- MSU beats OSU
- Michigan beats Penn State
- Michigan beats OSU
- Penn State beats MSU
As I noted above, that (the dangling arm) is what I saw too. It looked really bad, and I too can't believe he'll be near 100% this week, which will have a huge impact on the game. He is a gamer though, will be interesting to see.I didn't like the way Cook was dangling his right arm last Saturday. I can't believe he is going to be 100% Saturday.
