First line from Charbonneau's game piece tonight:
"Even with Cassius Winston on the bench with five fouls and Matt McQuaid back in East Lansing with a deep thigh bruise, Michigan State nearly pulled off another comeback on Tuesday night against Louisville in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge."
So the narrative is Sparty almost won even against all odds with its best player fouled out in OT and Matt "Magic" McQuaid back in the hospital bed listening on the old timey radio cheering on the boys. No matter that it's a far-from-vintage Louisville team with it's best player out (not mentioned anywhere) that's already lost twice.
I wonder if Michigan gets a key player fouled out and loses, would Charbonneau laud Michigan for the narrow defeat?
Vomit-inducing.
