On signing day, Jim Comparoni argued that, despite ranking to the contrary, MSU's freshman WR commit was the best player in the state of Michigan last year ..... in other words, better than DPJ and a host of other UM commits.
In his VCast a week ago, he reiterated that view. While I have no doubt that Cody White is going to be a very good player, to say he is better than DPJ is a ridiculous statement and one made by an insecure little man who simply cannot admit that UM was better than MSU.
