He's been saying for months that both Swenson and Weaver were on the evaluation block. He's also said that Harbaugh may need to evaluate from here on how much it costs to do recruiting this way.
I am convinced that this will not be a huge problem from here on. Michigan was coming off a disastrous couple seasons and had zero national momentum in recruiting. They needed some and accepted marginal recruits that have since been replaced with better players as they've further evaluated what they had committed to them and what was now available off a very successful 10-3 year. That will not be the case from now on, they will have momentum annually and won't be stressed into creating buzz with recruiting their on the field performance will do that.
