Lions moving radio broadcasts to WJR to avoid criticism

This is so Lions. Though I don't think it really makes much sense. People aren't going to stop listening to 97.1 just because the games are on 760. And 97.1 is likely to be that much more critical of the Lions. The game broadcasts themselves on 97.1 were incredibly pro-Lions.

How ridiculous are the Lions to demand that 97.1 fire Valenti or they would take their ball and go home? What a horrible organization. The Fords are just bad people. Not just inept, but truly bad people. They are billionaires and want to squash some poor local radio guy? How pathetic is that?

Why should anybody support their product? I mean, really?

Hope WJR can find some time between Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to squeeze in the Lions games. I remember when they actually were "THE Great Voice of the Great Lakes" with their own outstanding broadcast talent. What they've become is absolutely pathetic.

Yeah, WJR doesn't have any regular sports programming. Very strange move for the Lions from a business perspective. Getting personal over one on-air host is pathetic.
