why is it with the...he is too big for TE? Huh? What does that mean? He is too tall? That he could be converted to a tackle?

Look...I couldn't care if my TE is 6'8" and 300 lbs. IF....IF the guy can catch a ball and block and then be able to run a route then that person becomes invaluable on a team. A catching TE becomes a glorified blocking wr but a dominant blocking TE becomes a 3rd tackle.

Wheatley is freaking huge. Guy is a monster but I don't care if he runs a 4.7 40 yard dash...if he can catch the ball and a defense has to assign a linebacker to watch him then it pays huge dividends. How do you cover a 6'8 TE? He is just too physical.

I see Wheatley potentially as the anti-Funchess. I understand why some would want him at tackle. He could be a great one but my point is it's hard to find great blocking TE's who have hands and can be an enormous weapon.

Keep him at TE.

Given the TE recruiting this year in terms of quantity and quality it seems to me he is slated to be a tackle. He would be a great threat for the tackle eligible play!!

I'd leave the decision in the coach's hands. He has his dad and an okay HC to make the decisions

His dad said in a post-SD interview that there was no plan to move him. JH likes all kinds of TEs not one-size-fits-all
