kid 'allegedly' touches a girl somewhere and probably under the influence. Look, alcohol allows people to lose their inhibitions right?

He will take the consequences but it's not like the kid raped some girl. Kick the kid off a team (some are saying) because he was under the influence? Should we kick kids off the team for getting into an accident while being under the influence? How about yelling obscenities or resisting arrest?

How about smoking some dope? Kids make mistakes but I really hope the hole PC/militant feminism movement can hold on and resist destroying people's lives over a touch. I am sure the girl who was 'victimized' can somehow survive this assault on her humanity.

Poor decision on Grant's part but yeah probably way overblown - and that's why you don't let yourself get into this position. I want Coach to run a really tight ship, but this doesn't sound like anything that will have him kicked off the team from what's being reported.

But, running from the cops? Really, Grant? How did you think that was going to end up?

Good point. You have heard of the saying that that the cover-up is always worse than the initial crime so to speak. I understand why a drunk kid would run when he did a no no. Touching women without permission sexually should not be acceptable no matter how much RM would like to fondle breasts.

All that being said, Perry is going to go through some painful stuff and rightfully so. He will be a lesson to other males...watch your intake because alcohol makes you do stupid things you wouldn't normally do. Give him a team warning...some games. Next violation....double the suspension if somewhat minor and then 3rd one a year or off the team.

Coaches discretion.

Running from the police is a red flag.... he can take his "continuous " poor decision making to Ohio State or Florida State...they allow that as long as you can play...I say pack his bags no matter the court outcome

Bottom line: he touched a woman without her consent.
Even worse, he assaulted a cop.

He gone. Shitty, but as a fb player you gotta be cleaner than the next guy.
True. As a UM fb player, you should be held to higher standard. Heaven knows UM players basically are held to a higher standard then most other cfb teams.

Two words: Due process

It's time for fans to let these things work through the legal system that is well situated to handle them and to allow schools to hand out appropriate punishment. When they fail, like OK with Mixon, then we start criticizing and demanding alterations.

He assaulted a cop? Where did you hear that?

I thought he inappropriately touched a woman and ran from the cops.

Let the legal system go through the process. We all know
that the Media does not always have the correct facts.
I have complete confidence in how Coach Harbaugh will
handle this.
