There is a contest going on this week between Michigan and Florida fans to see who can donate more to their designated charity. For Michigan it's the ChadTough Foundation. The winner gets and additional $1000 and of course the winning fans get additional bragging rights.

BTW, was listening to a national CFB podcast a couple weeks ago. The conversation turned to UM fans and the guy, a long-in-tooth football analyst, said that UM fans were incredibly generous, most generous givers among football fanbases. Doesn't matter the cause, he said that in his experience you can always count on UM fans giving to it and a "Go Blue" to boot on online gifts.

That was cool to hear (ow, strained my shoulder patting my UM back)!

I think it was the "Podcast Ain't Played Nobody" podcast. They were having a lot of UM talk on their podcast this summer, try the July 11 one or the week before. You can skip ahead to where they start talking UM fans or about Harbaugh. It was pretty damn inspiring to hear that from a guy who has no other reason to like us (maybe Bill Connelly who I think covers OSU).
