Let's be fair. Not irrational. Judge this season by UM

standards and expectations. No RR. No Hoke.

Also, factor in the talent on the roster. Be fair.

I would grade it a 7.5. (0-10)

A solid season. A win over in state rival on road. Losses to main rival and loss in bowl game along with another loss. 10-3 is solid. Would also call it disappointing because it had a real good defense but it lost games it could have won even with a flawed offense.

I would grade UM last year as an 8.0. By the way I would grade this defense out at a 9.0. Offense at a 6.0. Notice how those two figures average out to a 7.5 :).

Going into the season. I just wanted a minor improvement. Best one rival and get 10 wins. It happened

But the way the season went. Oh man that's hurting my head

So we've gotten to the point where we are finally beating teams we should - yay.
But we don't seem to beat teams we could.

It's a wash, but I'm disappointed with how we always managed to fall short when the game was on the line.

This team couldn't close.
That's how I will remember them.
Coaches and players.
No killer instinct.
Hard to put a number on it - because the Iowa loss was poor.
We lost 3 games but we didn't have elite talent on offense.
That being said I don't think we maximized our offensive talent.
The wildcat should have been shelved post Maryland and way too many touches for Deveon Smith, who is our least effective RB.
The future is bright, but I don't think Drevno is a good OC - if he in fact is the one dialing up the majority of the plays.
If I could change one thing on the offense it would be to eliminate the use of the FB.

We can try to dance around it but the season was a failure. I'm not saying going 10-3 is bad but we all know what the goals were going into the season.

We didn't win the division, we didn't win the conference, we didn't make it to the playoffs, we didn't win our bowl game.

Hopefully with better talent at the OL, RB, WR, QB positions we can start the march to becoming an elite program.

Gee wiz ya big mathmatician! You're to smart for your own good!
Nice that you put the last"10 YEARS". In which Harbaugh has only coached 2 years and the other 8 were under mediocre coaches.....kinda like Dicktonia and state is turning in to.

Spartoons are always living in the past. Decades from now we'll be hearing about the magical 5 year run where they thought they mattered.
