Peppers for awhile but now is a good time. I think the guy is SOMEWHAT overhyped.

No one can question that he is very good at so many things. Guy obviously has talent but I see him more as a tweener at this level with not exceptional instincts. Didn't say he wasn't very very good not on the hype train that Peppers is the 2nd coming of Woodson.

I see why people love Peppers. He is fast and has decent size and is a football player but his play hasn't justified the love affair. I see Peppers as the UM equivalent of a Steve Breaston. Really good but does he excel at any one thing?

Is he a safety? LB'er? ST's guy? RB? The best way to describe him in my opinion is jack of all trades...master of none.

Thoughts? Who would you rather have on your team...Butt or Peppers? Chesson or Peppers?

So after only playing one year you came up with this? Interesting. You are comparing sophomore to senior. Yet you call yourself reality man. Sigh

No, just stop it.

The guy is a freakish athlete in addition to being fast. Great player who is going to blow up this year. I don't think it's a given he goes to the NFL, though. I think Harbaugh is going to do a good job with getting guys to stick around.

I never thought he was OVER hyped. Yes, there is hype around him but I don't think it's to the degree of which you speak. I save any further judgements about him until I see how he does next season.
Besides that I still think he's awesome.

Peppers is a football player and we are lucky to have him. He is a great teammate. He will be a all American and has helped in recruiting. What more could you ask for. Go Blue!

oh boy.

RM strikes, again, with more nonsense.

He isnt being moved on defense because of his play. It's a need based on losses at LB, and the system the new DC wants to run. I've never heard anyone say he is woodson. They are two different players altogether.

Where you went way off base is his instincts. He has fantastic instincts. He is not the cover guy or ballhawk that woodson was. I'm not sure that anyone ever said he would be that.

on special teams and offense, he is the type of player that can go to the house whenever he gets his hands on the ball. Those kind of players do not grow on trees. He can make a 15 yard punt return look like the most exciting play of the game.

Pure click bait and maybe your worst post ever (and that is really saying something).

Peppers has only played one year and has great instincts and athleticism. Woodson was not an AA his freshman year, ya know?

He'll be a top 5 pick whenever he decides to go pro.

As an OSU fan I wish Peppers was over hyped. But the reality is that on the Saturdays he plays against The Buckeyes, I just hope he has one of those inexplicable bad days.
