gap. I'll speak for myself and AB :). We are at least 50 years old whereas many people who follow UM football are half our age. We come from a different generation. Here is how we were raised/taught.

When we shake someones hand then that is a business transaction. If I meet AB and we are trying to buy/sell a car. If I tell AB...Okay..I'll take it and then shake his hand that means we have an agreement.

Ever watch Breaking Bad? Jesse Pinkman has a line in one of the episodes...MY WORD is my BOND.

I expect more from someone around 50 years old. Not some 17 year old still physically and emotionally developing kid. I do expect the Parents to raise their kids properly. You shake someones hand and tell them they are part of the program. That's it. You tell someone over the phone you are part of the program..that's it.

Your handshake and word are important. Maybe people should value these things more. Traditional values anyone?

How about this analogy. When you get married and take your vows...do you sign a contract about fidelity?

Well since I won't be 50 until October, I have no idea what the hell you're talking about old man.

I sell cars for a living. The deal is never done til the ink hits the contract, and the bank deposits the check in the dealerships acccount.

Also when you get married, you have to get this thing called a marriage license, that requires signatures from all parties.

Your examples suck. Try again.

I'm not 50+ like you & AB (a couple years from it) but I'm not sure why that matters. Are you saying that you have higher moral standards than the rest of us or 'these kids these days' & expect everyone else to think the same as you? Maybe you should look at the calendar & realize that it's 2016. Deals are made & broken every single day with & without handshakes, winks, nods, ass-slaps or hugs & kisses. It's a 2-way street & kids use it to their advantage time after time in recruiting. Why not the schools? So the school should be held to a higher moral standard than the kid because the coach is 50+ & the kid is only 18? They both know the rules before the game is played & yet they both willingly Play the Game. You win some & you lose some. You can't have it both ways. Move along.

Go Blue!
