So Larry is now 16 and him mom was looking around to see if anyone had a lead on a used golf cart they could use to help him get around. She'd posted about it on Facebook this morning. Within a couple hours she'd heard from a UM Nursing student who had childhood cancer, and who had been given a UM golf cart when she was recovering. Now that she doesn't need it anymore, she's gifting it to Larry.
So much craziness in the world these days but its great to see things that reaffirms the essential goodness in so many of us.
