The butterfly has emerged! Kyle Kalis is playing exactly as one expects a true 5-star to play. The Washington Post reported today Kalis is one of the biggest undrafted rookie surprises in the NFL this year. Kalis has locked down a Redskins' roster spot and has overtaken 2015 fourth- round pick Arie Kouandjio as the backup guard. Kalis is described by the Post beat writer as big at 6 feet 4 and 302 pounds, physical and playing with a nasty streak. So kudos to another Wolverine from last year's class for making a significant NFL breakthrough. Can't hurt Michigan OL recruiting for next year either.
