saw an article on this site that talked about how Kareem Walker struggled his last year with fumbles and too much dancing around versus being decisive the way he was previously. Wondering what his upside is since he did end up losing his 5th star at some point.

Perhaps his final payment to Rivals did not go through and he lost his 5th star or whatever the hell those stars mean. I saw this kid on film and he didn't dance much to me. If he does then it is better than what UM currently has.

I think that's what the Rivals recruiters said - he was very good but towards his Sr year at the end had fumble issues, etc. Who knows - I have been waiting for a home-run RB for a while at Michigan. If you exclude Denard Robinson - who was unreal - we have not had even a decent, let alone good, RB since Hart left.

There is definitely some work to do with Walker, but it doesn't hurt to have coaches like Wheatley & Harbaugh to help him reach his potential. The report on the OS about the all star practices was that Penn St's RB stood out, while Walker didn't.
