Just watching this team, some of the nuances, and you can really see Juwans NBA experience shining through.
Watch how easy it is for us to get HD into the post in good position, swing the ball to the wing and get an easy entry pass. Just simple stuff, but when done correctly, very difficult to stop at the college level.
Giving Juwan a legit post player who can pass is almost unfair.
The point of my post though, kids would be wise to take note of what he’s doing. I am sitting here watching USC, and this kid Evan Mobley is clearly a stud, but they run nothing to get him in position for success. Just a completely inferior level of coaching.
We are a well coached team. Our offense is really, really good. We have very few stretches in which we don’t get good looks. This offense will make a lot of kids money at the next level.
Hunter is going to be the shiny toy that Juwan cuts his teeth with to show why the elite kids should be coming to UM.
