OFFENSE
Those questioning the playcalling need to relax. As some posters have said, we always keep it vanilla for these type of opponents. We have bigger, better athletes, so Harbaugh makes calls that are predictable but are *supposed to* work because we’re supposed to impose our will in the trenches. The inability for the first string O Line to impose its will is the major problem. Emergence of DPJ and Gentry is big.
DEFENSE
It’s clear it’s not as elite as last year. Still some time to improve (really hope Solomon gets healthy) but we’ll have to rely more on our offense this year. Hopefully we’re also holding back on some different/zone looks which we’ll unleash in B1G play. We’ll see.
