Shooting percentage would increase if guys "in these modern times" would use the backboard more often for the little short shots. They want to try these teardrop shots over the edge of the rim instead of "making the backboard your friend! Use the backboard more and watch scoring and percentage go up! The backboard is much more forgiving with shots, especially 5 footers around the rim
