I should go back and look at last season's highlights, but there was a game (Colorado?) relatively early in the season where the other team took the ball and scored on the first drive. Karsh commented on how the staff didn't panic or even talk to the team. They were on the headsets, talking to the booth, huddling up, and then after the TV time-out they came over, talked to the team, made some adjustments, and settled down. We saw a similar dynamic with MSU where they moved the ball early and again on Saturday.
Bo's staff was widely known for their ability to make the right adjustments at halftime. I think under Brown we're making them even earlier. Plus he's expanded the toolbox so substantially we're getting to the point where he has so many answers already built in AND he's making use of 'tweeners like Hudson, Furbush, et al. so we've got personnel packages that are really diverse . . . Wow.
