I compared Joe Lunardi vs. Bracket Matrix (a compilation of 112 posted brackets).
Lunardi missed on two teams (Indiana and UCLA). Bracket Matrix missed on one (UCLA). (Both had CSU in, incorrectly.)
Lunardi had two of the last four correctly (those that would play in Dayton)--Boise State and Ole Miss. He had BYU and Dayton in the regular field.
This guy was no better than average. And I'd guess if this analysis was done each year, he'd consistently be no better than average.
