I admit, I like when the team has a QB seize the No. 1 spot and own it for more than one season, like maybe three.
So I don't look ahead much to talents like Joe Milton. I assume their time, their opportunity to shine, will come.
I understand he can rifle the football, and then this morning I thought: "that's what was said of Ryan Mallett."
I then strained to think of a Big Ten QB star of the past few years who had a cannon-like arm.
Blanksville.
Recent stars have been good decision-makers, good scramblers, and gamers.
And I wondered what else Joe will add to his arsenal over the next several months.
There's a lot to learn obviously, but will he master getting rid of the ball quickly? Will he become great at knowing when to run?
With that natural arm zip, he could be deadly with a quick release.
A meandering post, I know. I seldom look ahead to The Next QB and that probably shows here.
Appreciate any thoughts from posters on big Joe and QB development.
Go Blue. Always.
