So apparently Jerry Rice (admitted to illegally applying "stickum" to his gloves so he could catch the ball more easily (link)) and Tom Brady (more probably than not was generally aware that footballs were deflated so he could get a better grip) are both cheaters. What a joke. These types of things make two kinds of people upset: (1) jealous fans of other teams or players and (2) self-righteous sports moralists with tunnel vision. Neither of these guys should have an asterisk next to their accomplishments. Neither of these guys should have tainted legacies. Both of these guys should go down as the greatest to ever play their positions. We are living in the theater of the absurd.
