I still can't figure out why ANY tight end would choose OSU, much less one that is a Top 50 recruit and one of the best in the nation. OSU's TE's have caught a combined 6 passes for 70 yards in 4 games. That's with a 5th year 4-star TE Baugh, and three other 4-star TE's on their roster. A converted QB has passed them up at Michigan. A sophomore three-star "supposed" nobody from the Northeast tallied their collective production in one game today.
Aside from Aaron Hernandez, Meyer has rarely used a TE in his offense, even with different coordinators...Dan Mullen, Tom Herman, Kevin Wilson. If I was a high level recruit, even though I love Michigan, it would be hard for me to choose UM during the Rich Rod era as a TE because I wouldn't be involved in the offense. Man that kid must love Ohio State.
