Haven't seen this discussed, but a week after calling Pitt "just like Akron", he decided that it was necessary to ice the Georgia State kicker to preserve a shutout while up 56-0. He tried to pretend he didn't have the right personnel on the field which is why he called the timeout, but it was clear that he was trying to ice him. Even if he did have the wrong personnel, you're up 56-0! He's quickly becoming my least favorite coach in the country. On the flipside, it did provide this great mini-rant from Mike Francesa.
