Never been prouder of anything related to our Sports program as I am to have Beilein as a coach right now. Coaching in the cesspool of college basketball, he has taken heat for failure to lock up top recruits, and if we didn't understand why before (and due to the incessant complaining about, we didn't quite get it), we do now. Notwithstanding all this, we have had a solid, sometimes spectacular program over the last decade, and came within a shady sleazeball of a coach (and, improbably, a George Mason transfer) of winning it all.
Assuming he won't be implicated (he won't), Beilein has reached "beyond reproach" status for me. I will never question the dude's methods or recruiting again. It's such a wonderful feeling at a time like this to rest assured your program is in the hands of this guy (sorry for the Freep link)
