My good news is Michigan sports are doing well all over the place. Swimming, Baseball, Softball, Hockey, men's and women's Basketball.
If this men's basketball team shocks the world without Livers, it will have to go down as one of Michigan's greatest sports efforts ever. The path will be hard but the defense could get us to the final four. It's pretty stressful to watch but fun at the same time.
Baseball scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat MSU 8-7 was another highlight of the week. I loved that it came against Sparty.
The lady hoopsters have already exceeded my expectations and from here on out more wins are gravy.
Hockey has a tough draw but if our goalie doesn't have another lapse, I like this team.
I have lots to be thankful for even if it sometimes feels seems like the world is swirling the drain.
