My good news is it's really starting to sink in that there will be Michigan football. I'm very excited about it. One of the really fun things about this year's team is the unknowns. Who is going to step up? Is Joe Milton all that has been advertised? Will the O-line be an assett or a liability. So many questions but it's gonna be fun to see the answers play out on the field. I'm excited. Go Blue!
Monday was my sister's birthday and she's here so we had a nice little family dinner. Today is my daughter in laws birthday and we don't really know the plan because my son, (her husband) has been in the hospital for a couple of days.
They have four dogs and on Friday two of them got in a tussle. As John went to break them up he got his hand chomped on. By Sunday it was starting to show signs of infection so a trip to the ER and then admitted for IV antibiotics. The good news is it's responded well and we hope he gets out today. Animal bites are no joke and need to be watched carefully.
Work has gone from "what are we going to do next" to "how are we going to get all this done" That's a good problem to have. Feeling very blessed and morale at work is very high.
Today is officially the first morning or a little bit cooler weather in my area and it was great. Summer has been a hot one.
I'm reading a great Christian book right now called, "What If It's True?" by Charles Martin. He usually writes Christian Fiction but so far this is really a good book with a unique perspective. Not what I expected when I picked it up. I recently read a very good book by one of our own Fort members @MaizeDawg. Check these two out if you're looking for a little inspiration in your life.
