My good news is we won Saturday. Despite the pundits salivating about a possible upset of the #8 team in Merica our guys found a way to go out and get it done. The D is remarkable. Winovich, Hurst, Bush, all of them are just remarkable. I agree with coach Harbaugh, When Don Brown's happy, I'm happy.
On offense we may have found the guy to lead the team. I have been a big supporter of Wilton and I think he's a great guy but he hasn't been very good this year. JOK came in and gave us a spark. He was decisive and ACCURATE. after a bit of a slow start he really hit his stride and surprise, all of a sudden the run game got better. Now one game does not make a superstar but I'm very hopeful that we have found the guy that can get it done.
In other news, my sister will be in town this weekend and we'll be having a little fun together. My daughter in law had her 30th birthday this past weekend and we celebrated accordingly.
We are getting ready to crank up a capital fundraising campaign at church and it looks like I'm going to be heading up that committee. I'm not sure that fall under good news but I'll be working with great people that I respect very much.
