Well, it's finally here!!! My good news is Michigan plays football this Saturday! I'm trying to savor every second leading up to the game. I'm nervous, excited, confident and unsure all at the same time.
I think Harbaugh has them ready and I think we have the tools to win. I hope what I think is right.
In other good news, IT'S MY 37th ANNIVERSARY TODAY!!
I can't fathom someone putting up with me for 37 days let alone 37 years, but here we are. We are truly blessed and I think through all the surprises and gunk that comes along in a marriage we did a few things right.
We put Jesus Christ first.
We agreed to never say the word divorce in context to our marriage.
When things got tough we held on tighter instead of pushing away.
We let each other savor our favorite things even if the other doesn't fully get it. (She still doesn't totally grasp my insanity over Michigan, but she goes with it.
We agreed to each do our share of heavy lifting.
At 60 we probably won't see another 37 but we'll ride the wave as far as it takes us. We have lots we still want to do and see.
What I want right now is to kick the holy bejeebers out of Florida.
