My good news is football, football, football!! We're almost to the season. I am amped. It's great to be part of the BG/NC conversation and I'm looking forward to Michigan being "BACK IN FRONT!"
The wife's birthday was a hit. We sang happy birthday to her in church then spent the day with the kids. We all of us drove over to dinner at Disney's "Captain's Grill." I had one of the better pieces of Prime Rib I've ever had. Then we finished with fireworks at Epcot. All in all I didn't screw it up this year, so that's a win.
The major yard work of trimming, fertilizer and bug stuff is done and the new sod is taking root well.
I can't wait for the season and I'm doing some calendar clearing in anticipation of sitting for long stretches in my captain's chair while managing my command center of 3 TV's, mac, IPad and phone.
I'm praying we get of to a great start against the Gators. It could be a special season.
