Phillips is a product of Congressman/doctor Osborne. Not only did he close his eyes to a thug he boasted 7 felons on an earlier National Championship game. Quality guy that Nebraska can be proud of.

You may recall the press conference prior to their bowl game when Phillips dragged Scott Frost's girlfriend down flights of stairs by her hair. Osborne was asked "would Phillips be on the team if that was your daughter?" Classy Osborne walked out of the press conference. And idiots all around the nation voted Neb. co-national champion.
