will not be Feb. 11 vs. Illinois. In fact, it probably comes Feb. 18 vs. Rutgers, though the Feb. 14 game at Wisconsin is still a possibility.

The Michigan players have done next to nothing due to the shutdown in Ann Arbor. They've been jogging, working out in their rooms with rubber stretch bands, etc., running on their own, but that's obviously not organized workouts or hoops.

There is undoubtedly going to be some rust, and asking them to play three days after returning to the court for the first time would have been a tall order.

Michigan can't even talk to the Big Ten about make-up games until Feb. 7, and while there's some room at the end of February, it's going to be hard to make up all the games. They'll try to play as many as they can, and your'e going to have some situations in which they might do what MSU did and play on a day's rest (MSU played at Ohio State Sunday and Iowa Tuesday, losing both games).

We'll have more on this development in the days to come.
