That late signing period starts Wednesday, and Michigan hopes to fill five scholarships. Four-star guard Zeb Jackson has already signed, four-star center Hunter Dickinson and four-star forward Terrance Williams plan to sign and three-star Jace Howard will walk-on his first year.

There's plenty of optimism that five-star shooting guard Josh Christopher out of California will pledge and sign next week, as well.

That leaves five-star forward Isaiah Todd, who committed last fall but didn't sign in the early signing period. He recently scrubbed the Michigan commitment from his twitter page, and there have been rumblings that he could still end up playing elsewhere, whether it's college or professional.

Rivals.com's Eric Bossi caught up with Todd's mother to discuss her son's recruitment heading into next week. She was interested in knowing where the rumors were coming from and downplayed the significance of the twitter scrubbing. She denied that her son was de-committed.

Bossi wanted to be sure he didn't misquote her, so he asked her point blank, "so you're telling me he is still committed to Michigan?"

She responded, "as of today, he is a Michigan commitment."

Make of that what you will.

That does not change our opinion on this one ... that it's up in the air at this point. We won't consider this one done until he shows up somewhere to play.
