Michigan head coach Juwan Howard continues to put in work on the recruiting trail. One of the closer ones to home (literally) involves his son, Jace, a Rivals.com three-star protect out of Hollywood (Fla.) University.
Howard is having a really nice year at University School (we'll have an article up on that later this week) and holds offers from the Ivy League and others. Most coaches, of course, have believed he would end up at Michigan.
They are probably right. Howard took to twitter to announce he'd decide this month, and we expect it to be for Michigan. And no, it won't be as a walk-on. He has a scholarship offer, and he's taking it.
Howard told us yesterday he plans to announce Jan. 20 (MLK Day) on twitter and instagram.
