*** Five-star Powell (Tenn.) High defensive tackle Walter Nolen is set to visit Michigan this weekend, per his father Walter Sr. This visit was always up in the air so obviously a positive that Nolen is making it in along with his younger brothers, Warren and Waylon.
*** Nolen's mother Yolunda, who loves Michigan, is also slated to be in attendance. Walter Sr. cannot make it in this weekend, but he did enjoy his time on campus in the summer. Remember, it's Yolunda's parents that live in the Detroit-metro. She also has U-M alums in her family.
*** Nolen recently left Michigan out of his Top 3, but Shaun Nua, Ron Bellamy and co. haven't stopped recruiting. him. If the Wolverines can figure out NIL and win this game then maybe U-M isn't dead in the water in this recruitment just yet.
